Job description

We have an immediate opening for a Locksmith. Your job duties will include installing, repairing, adjusting, and replacing locks and other door closures around various buildings, facilities, and homes. You will also be expected to know how to work on car locks, including unlocking, rekeying, duplicating, and programming car keys. Our ideal candidate has a couple of years of experience, is proficient in locksmith techniques, and can use various hand and power tools.

Locksmith Duties

  • Duplicate Keys and Locks: Exhibit proficiency in accurately duplicating keys and locks to meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Install Locks, Both Mechanical and Electric: Utilize your expertise to install various locks, from traditional mechanical locks to cutting-edge electric locking systems.
  • Repair and Maintain Existing Lock Systems: Troubleshoot and address issues with existing lock systems, ensuring optimal functionality and security.
  • Rekey Locks: Skillfully rekey locks to enhance security measures and provide peace of mind to our clients.
  • Duplicating and Programming Car Keys: Specialize in duplicating and programming car keys, addressing the increasing demand for automotive locksmith services.
  • Unlocking House and Car Locks: Respond promptly to calls for unlocking house and car locks, showcasing your problem-solving skills and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Locksmith Requirements and Qualifications

  • Multiple Years of Experience (Preferred): Demonstrate a proven track record of success in the locksmith industry, with hands-on experience in various aspects of the trade.
  • Experience with a Variety of Lock-Picking Tools and Key-Cutting Hardware: Showcase your proficiency in using a diverse range of tools and equipment to perform locksmith tasks with precision.
  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Communicate effectively with clients, offering friendly and professional service while addressing their locksmith needs with expertise and efficiency.
